Best known as a digestive aid; its anethole content relieves gas, bloating, cramping, and infant colic, and traditionally supports breast milk production and eases menstrual and menopausal symptoms. Also used to freshen breath and support respiratory health. Avoid with hormone-sensitive conditions or hormone therapy; avoid concentrated doses in pregnancy.
